Sigh! It has nothing whatsoever to do with malice. It has everything to do with arrogance of the newly monied who have never learned how to work nor how work is done. These kind of thinkers believe that they are doing the "poor" a favor by taking care of them so they won't be unhappy nor rabble. Study the meanings behind "bread and circuses".

That's because of the difference between the two parties. Democrats say, "Give us all your money and we'll spend it for your own good." Republicans say, "Keep your money; we'll tell you how to spend it." The former gives nobody any chance of wealth. The later still gives one a chance of acquiring wealth. Acquiring wealth implies self-reliance, promotes innovations, and rewards real production.

The ones who do that ranting are not willing to do the real work to become unoppressed. They still expect their sugar daddies to pay the bills, turn labor into expendable wealth and fix it when things go wrong. These so-called feminists are transferring the role of sugar daddy from an individual male to the government. I find that terribly dangerous.

snip I would not claim to have any knowledge of the real reasons the US is in Iraq, or the reasons why that is...

You need to pay close attention to what Hillary was doing when she wrote that book and did the interview circuit. She said this sentence at least two times in every interview: My husband upheld the Consitution of the United States. The whole exercise of this book was to start this myth. They intend to be back in the White House to do more dirty work.

Sigh! They are. The lower echelon of Democrats, when giving talks, tend to laud Hillary as being the key person who brought the party back together. You need to watch more of our CSPAN and listen to the chat after the formal presentations.

Smoke and mirrors. Excuses about "they did it first" are methods to avoid dealing with real problems. What I am talking about is corruption that is becoming insbreastutionalized and part of a political party's platform.

snip "Their goal is to limit economic freedom" sounded to me like an imputation of malice; if that's not what you...

Yes. But now the latest Bash-Bush crowd have everybody buttuming that calls have always been 100% private.

People who wave this Amendment are completely ignoring that we at war. War temporarily changes the status of the Consbreastution. During WWII, a lot of it was suspended; although I don't understand exactly what happened in day-to-day living and work when this was done.

Of course it's new. Watch the flow of the conversation. It illustrates how the fit is shanning w.r.t. to what we're talking about. Somebody says that somebody told him a long time ago about a fact. So everybody picks up the discussion with the implicit buttumption that the rumor was fact rather than examining the buttumption first. I'm seeing this happen more and more with the anti-Bush crowd; and what is so worrisome is that it is working very, very well. The tactic is to start the rumor in Europe. Within a month the rumor has travelled to the US and has become a fact. I started noticing this method during our 2004 Democrat pre-primary Presidential campaigns. The f***ing idiot from Vermont is fine-tuning the technique using the internet.

This has started me wondering if the Tower of Babel myth was really a fact and a story about basic human nature personnel dynamics in one large group.

Yes, Christians are saying this today. But they are repeating the myth they were told. When I was young, somebody tried this one on me. So I asked, "If all Jews are bad throughout all time and Jesus was a Jew, that also makes Jesus a bad person."

Yes, with the additional understanding that all civilization is fragile. There are ways to counter this cracking but it takes work and planning.

Really.

No. This has never been discussed.

Oh, it's not just this group that hasn't discussed it but the question hasn't been nationally debated at all.

Go, girl :-). This is a phrase that has become a fad here.

Another phrase I caught myself saying is "butt ugly". I was reading a Unix getting-started manual in the section that was training me to write a document with troff. I said aloud, "..now that's butt ugly." I am still trying to figure out where I got that term and howthehell butts became ugly.
