One thing I think that O'l Tricky privatesy was never credited for, was leaving the US in a better situation than it was when he was elected. Out of Viet Nam, better relations with China, etc. I wonder when the whole story will be told..
Politics is a really horrible business.. If someone seems even slightly honest, leave it to them. If one has the slightest blemish in ones past (say, posted in a slightly sympathetic way about Palestinians), it will be in the media. Very few of us have a past that clean, and most of those who do just have it well hidden.

Yup. Socialism may have something to do with it. There are great blocks of flats in East Berlin that seem well built, but desperatly unfashionable. Some elderly people are moving in, low rents.
