What I didn't know then was that the enemy would be a different face each day, nor did I nor my parents realize that we were being propagandized.
Since Watergate, the media has needed a new and more notorious story each day, and if there is none, then they will wear out yesterday's. In any case, there will be a daily scandal.
I do not beleive a whit of what I cannot see anymore. A good American of the '60's, if he were to come back now, would probably be viewed as a lunatic.
