Nobody seems to remember the big anti-Clinton sentiment among computer types when he (or, more accurately, his administration) proposed that Clipper chip thing.

And no one wants Bill back in power. First of all, he's had his Consbreastutionally-limited 8 years, and so he's out.

And then you can't have it both ways. When Bill was in office, there were complaints from political opponents that Hillary was running the show. To turn around and state that with Hillary in the office, Bill will be running the show, is disingenuous at best.

The problem isn't left or right. The problem is government that no longer is accountable to the people. The problem is government that finds itself in the pockets of corporations. The problem is a populace that has discovered "that it can vote itself largess from the public treasury." The problem is government that caters to the more repressive elements of society and chooses to try to enforce specific tenets of religion-based morality on a larger group of people who don't share that religion. The problem is government run by people who have grand ideals but no working knowledge of how to implement those ideals and won't listen to the people who do have that knowledge. The problem is government trying so hard to be all things to all people that it is incompetent at everything. The problem is people who don't understand that the purpose of government is not to provide for its population, but to promote conditions in which basic rights are not infringed. The problem isn't left or right; it's left AND right.
