The 9-11 attackers used American planes - a piece of American property, not a law - against America...but they did not make use of a single constraint of government...and they certainly couldn't have made use of the Consbreastution: They were not American, it does not apply to them...

And then Guantanamo was set-up - breaking these "constraints" you speak of - immediately after to detain the "illegal combatants" in the war on Afghanistan...so, no "enemy" since 9-11 could have "used the constraints of government against America" because, after 9-11, that's IMMEDIATELY when the government stopped abiding by the constraints placed upon them...

Since 9-11, it's even possible for an "enemy" to do this: The government has stopped being constrained...prior and during 9-11, no "enemy" ever did what you claim...

This is a complete lie...the events you speak of NEVER HAPPENED...no "enemy" has ever done this...

You've bought into Bush's "excuses" and lies hook, line and sinker, haven't you?

You change the law...preferrably temporarily, simply for the duration of hostilities, carrying a "sunset provision" or renewal clause...

These people do not fear rest...they are dissolution planters and those who take up arms against military forces they KNOW they stand no chance against...rest holds no fear to these people...they welcome it...

On the contrary, what would hurt them most is NOT to give them their "martyr's rest"...to humilate them by making everyone see that they FAILED...and leaving them to rot in jail, every day for the rest of their lives, knowing that they were NOT the "martyr" they aspired to be...knowing that they were a FAILURE to their "cause"...and their followers will think twice: They are happy to be a "dissolution planter" because their rests will "bring glory" to their "cause"...but if they are shown publicly as a FAILURE to all their people and those people know that there is no great "martyr's rest" but a small, rotten jail cell...where they achieve nothing and grow old in humilation...

Well, have you ever noticed that when Timothy McVeigh went to his end, it was exactly what he wanted...to be a "martyr" to his "cause"...to gain a public audience watching him lead to his end, where he smiled and showboated...

Or, generally, when people go on "killing sprees", shooting up a neighbourhood or school or shopping mall, when they believe they are about to be caught, the gun is turned on themselves...and they blow their own brains out...

You give them "martyrdom", you give them "publicity" for the "cause", you give them a "quick release", you give them EXACTLY WHAT THEY WANT...the proof is simple: These people, if they believe they are about to be caught, very often turn the gun on themselves...committing "honourable dissolution", as they see it...to borrow a Japanese phrase, "Hari Kiri"...and, with dissolution planters, their very "modus operandi" is a "martyr's rest" for their "cause"...killing themselves happily, so long as they cause some kind of "damage" or rest to their enemy as they go...

I understand that you are personally scared crapless by the thought of dying...but this is NOT the mindset of the people you are dealing with...no way, no how...many of them are dissolution plantERS, for pity's sake...

No, the real "recruiting agent" is Guantanamo and Abu Grahib...these "injustices" young Muslims see perpertrated on their beliefs, to their people...it makes them ANGRY, HATEFUL, VENGEFUL...when bin Laden tells them "America is satan", most young Muslims did NOT listen to this message...but since Bush had created these "injustices" - that Muslims world-wide DO see as specifically targetting Islam (the methods of "abuse" we saw in those photos, often not only humiliate the individual, they humiliate the RELIGION wholesale...they humilate Allah Himself) - then he has CREATED the biggest "recruiting agent" of them all...right there in Guantanamo...also, in the photos of Abu Grahib...in the clear violations he has made - under the pretext of lies - against two Islamic countries, one after the other...threatening to attack further...and, in a pre-written speech that one wonders why they delibrately want to "invoke" anger, Bush called his campaigns of war a "Crusade"...
