Wrong. Perhaps you should listen to somone a little more sane than Bernie Sanders, for your information. These searches are subject to a warrant from the FISC (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court). It is not a "normal court", but a court it is.

jmfbahciv There is NO actual specific legal "right to basic self-defence" in the Consbreastution directly... Yes, I'd fully agree that this is a pretty strange omission... And, also, on a "moral" level, you...

You really are paranoid, eh? Maybe you should calm down and do more research. Isn't it a reasonable thing to not have a person tipped off that the feds are onto him?

The "Patriot Act" is law, ironic as that may sound.

They are not POWs, though they are being treated better than.

Excuse for whatever was meant to be excused by saying that things could be worse. So, 'thin edge of the wedge' is an appropriate way to describe the situation. I can't read...

They aren't doing anything illegal. I can't see how involving ten-thousand ambulance chasers is going to end the war any sooner though.

They are not subject to our criminal system. They did not comitt crimes on US soil, nor are they US citizens. They were captured in a war, thus it's a military issue. They cannot be tried in court either, at least until the hostilities end. Perhaps then they should be turned over to the Afghanistani government. Until then, they'll continue to gain weight on the US taxpayer.

Either they're going to learn or die. Learning is less final. Turkey is on it's way to separation.

Our most fundamental right is survival. If they insist on having it any other way, they die.

In case you hadn't noticed, there is no mention of a "right to privacy" in the consbreastution, though rights need not be enumerated. The "right" to free speech isn't unlimited. Indeed no "right" is unlimited.
