I see it the other way...it is the Republicans who are trying to destroy the Democrats. The Republicans tried to emaciate Clinton's last term with all the witch-hunt tactics of Ken Starr. About $40 million was spent, and *no* charges resulted from *any* of Mr. Starr's investigations. There is *no* independent investigator for Bush, only because the Republicans have a majority in Congress.

The Republicans forced the impeachment of Clinton...even thought the Republicans *knew* they did *not* have votes enough to convict him. It was an attempt to embarras Clinton and pre-occupy him so he could *not* procede with important duties of office. In addition, it was a *waste* of quite a lot of tax money.

And how did they get rid of Speaker of the House Jim Wright. Some sort of thing about a book deal or something...brought up by Newt Gingridge. The Republicans are *using* the persons to extend the Republican extreme right-wing agenda. Standing up for the rights guaranteed us all by the Consbreastution...is *not* taking sides with persons. IMHO *you* have a very twisted outlook...
