Right. So far the various denominations of Christianity haven't been able to cooperate past starting a meeting. One of the most frightening things I've experienced in the last 10 years is when my mother showed me the article that all of these denominations were starting to cooperate because they now have the common enemy called Islam. She showed me the article in her effort to "convert" me. When I was 12 I had rejected the religion because none of the denominations treated each other according to their religion. Her thinking was that, now that they are cooperating with each other, I could convert.
There is also the difference of authoritarianism between the two religions...so far. If a Christian doesn't blindly believe the pastor, he's merely a sinner and needs work. If a Muslim doesn't blindly believe in their leader, he is labelled a heretic and end. This why moderates have not been speaking out because the extremists were able to control the politics by using thug rule.
With the advent of the US saying no, and meaning it, the moderates are slowly making public their viewpoint and also telling the thugs no. I'm hearing stories of little actions getting done supporting this. Eventually it will be commonplace and the extremism will die down to annoying pockets.
That still doesn't exclude any of the three. Except maybe you mean the persons who profess to be muslim...
Another difference between the two is that Muslim treaties takes precedence over national treaties. Christians don't have this.
