Yes, of course, there are many other reasons. Essentially Historical and Cultural reasons... but NONE of them ever succeeded because of anything coming from the USA. This is really a very absurd idea.

Japan was a modern country before WW2 (and you have payed to know...).

China never needed you to grow. You can stop any commercial exchange with China, this will not stop them from being the next world leader, in all areas, in a very soon future.

... and so on... each country is a special case, and the success or failure of a given one is out of subject.

One thing that amaizes me, with you, US citizens, is that you seem to be really convinced that you helped the other countries to grow, that you are the "good", that you are the full rights "leaders", the "world police", and so on. This is so absurd, so defeating any historical known fact, any economical reality... that i can't believe it...
