With all else being equal, sure. Things are extremely lop-sided in my life.

I've already done a ramp up estimate in my head. It will take me about six months (and I'm always underestimating manpower times). To reduce that I would need a system setup such that I can lay down and work. To do that, I need to clear out my junk room. To clear out my junk room, I need to shove it all into closets. Before I shove the junk into these closets, I'm making them bug and critter proof. I've just finished one of these closets which has taken me two years to do. I have two more to go.

Since I never do any work without satifying two requirements, the other reason to make these closets useful is to prep for the time when I will need a caretaker to live here.

If the fit hits the shan and every last bit of gear decides to fall over dead, my backup to my backup to my backup plan is to go to retail brick and mortar and buy a yucko off the shelf and then deal with the rest of the conversion mess later. This backup plan will be invoked if, and only if, I can't survive without yakking here. Probability of that is 68%.

But not as painful. I guess this all depends on what each of us means by "easier".
