No, it didn't. :-)

But the two wires are broken and each piece doesn't loop around. I'm not writing this clear. I hold broken end A1 in my left hand. In my right hand I have the other side of the break B^n. To splice and fix A1, I need to find B1. It is by design that the wire A1 does not loop around and end with B1 (there's point to having a phone system).

I'm not trying to say that what you do doesn't work. I just can't see how they work in my head :-); there is a very good reason that I clbuttify hardware as a guy thing.

That's the thingie that goes zssszttt and I'm hooked into the grid.

Oh, yeah!!! I kept watching, expecting the guy to start shooting lightning bolts out of his head.

JMF's Dad did high tension wiring.

Certainly the 6kv distribution is regularly messed with in a live state, but the 44kv (and the rail 16kv) seems off-limits. The 440kv international lines...

I only know what I was told. It has been known that men have lied to me.

Sorry, your right. I buttumed a piece of jargon would be understood but that was a bad buttumption on my part. I'll try to explain it...

That's what you all say.

See?!!

Yes.

When I wrote the line, I was thinking of unions. Now that you've asked the question, the comment could apply to both.
