winscape 2216winscape 2218 snip Ah. I misunderstood. (If I'd been reading carefully, I'd have realized that in the... A lot worse. I've done a bit of farming. Young animals need their mothers (and their mothers need them).. A mother would have to be very bad indeed before an insbreastution would do a better job. For instance, Mothers are there 24-7. Insbreastutuions are there 9-5 (or more likely 10.30-4.30). Children reared in insbreastutions never have sturdy systems to suffer a crises (to make a computer analogy).. I've been told that the toughest of men, when wounded critically, instinctively (sp?) call for their mothers. Children need a mother and father, sometimes that's not possible because one or the other may have, say, drug problems, but then you are in a crises situation, and the person left has to do the best they possibly can. Rant. Yup. winscape 2217 Them...Parents and their kids. And I'm sure it will be difficult because a Liberal's goal is to diminsh all self-responsibility. And you certainly jumped... Karl Marx was postulating ideal systems. Having read a lot of his work, he made some very good points about changing conditions (one point was that new technology was dangerous for 'early innovators', but essencial when the bugs are worked out), but his analysis of society was rubbish.
I've read over the weekend that the country most likely to survive a real oil crises is ...Cuba.. Then, my niece went there on their honeymoon, she said the poverty was desperate. -- greymaus
