Actually, I cannot see how people can do buttembly language coding without knowing about the nuts. I can see how one can manage to never see a bolt work, because of the curse of the HLL fads. But to not know the bit pattern flows is like plunging your hand into the swamp and hoping you find a gold coin and no alligators attached to your hand.
