Let's hope so. I think this has come about as a result of the fragile nature of the Windows OS. "System Restore" has evolved as sticking plaster to patch over all that's wrong with the Windows design philosophy. As a result Gates & Co have lost sight of the fact that the user rightly sees their data as priority. Apple haven't had that problem to anything like the same extent, if at all. But I do wonder how many users will treat Time Machine as a data backup device and when their hard drive goes south... :-(
Enlightenment on Linux has the best version of virtual desktops - just drag the dynamically updating icon of your app from wherever it is in the pager directly to the current desktop and presto - there it is, on your current desktop. And all that was possible several years ago on hardware with a fraction of today's power. 10.5 33HumfHSaKlA~jG9gd Snit wrote I'm stunned that you posted on topic. Congratulations. I knew you could do it. Sounds like GoBack for... But I'm glad Apple have finally caught up - can we now have windows that resize from any side, please? Nothing else stirs the blood, certainly not $129.99's worth anyway. -- Peter
