Because, believe it of not, its still NOT AVAILABLE everywhere! I live in Silicon Valley where much of this technology originates, and there are places here where broadband is simply not available. Too far from the phone office, Cable TV company doesn't offer it, etc.

Not if you saw how the feature worked, you wouldn't. Apple has stationary doing things that MS never even thought of.

Too bad you're wrong (about Apple Mail, anyway). According to Jobs, Apple's stationary will show up correctly on any mail app, including entourage.
And Entorage can read it. How many points does that get Apple?
