No, that isn't what I was saying, and no, that isn't true.

Look at video cards, one of the most important hardware issues: The situation is that since Apple selects few video cards for inclusion, drivers for other cards may be written later, and for some few cards may not be written at all. It isn't that the Mac doesn't take advantage; it's that the hardware makers do not always consider Mac. There are probably some technical reasons for much of that, but it isn't that Apple has failed to do something.

You'll certainly see that -- I wouldn't be surprised if there are already a few ready.

No, you don't -- Apple is NOT moving toward Windows. Do you understand? Bad Windows, Down Windows -- no biscuits for Windows.

Apple's move to an EFI architecture and Intel processors will probably improve the likelihood of hardware makers writing Mac drivers.
