eh? To get "taken advantage of", I'd actually have to f***ING BUY one of these black MBs.

I actually cancelled my order at Amazon and went for the white. This is the exact opposite of getting taken.

Congratulations; you are perhaps the densest person on the planet. You are making less sense in this thread than George, which is quite an accomplishment.

Apple feels the need to distinguish their pro and consumer lines. Previously, they would go out of their way to cripple the consumer lines. Now, they aren't doing that, instead, they are pricing the pro-looking consumer option a bit more pro-like.

The market will tell Apple if this loss of Customer Satisfaction is worth the extra $$$.

Welcome to Capitalism. A $150 premium for black plastic is rather mild compared to the 50%+ margins Apple was running in the late 80s. Now that, that was evil, and worse, a strategic mistake.
