Apple vs The Scroll Wheel 1101
Hi!
Hmmm...the scroll wheel on several Microsoft IntelliMice has worked just by plugging it in to the USB port on a Macintosh. I can confirm this on everything from the iMac G3 all the way up to an Intel Core Duo mini.
I wonder about the scroll wheel on the MS optical trackball...maybe I should try it!
Video proof might be a problem. My video camera is presently broken. About the best I could do is take a brief video with one of my digital cameras. But I'd be willing to try it.
He didn't buy it either. He looked on the web for mice that don't list Macs as being compatible and he found this one. But he f***ed...
Note, however, that I'm no "major Mac user" or member of what you so lovingly refer to as the "Mac Jihad". I just use 'em, along with PCs. Sometimes I'm impressed and sometimes not.
