Apples newest commercials. 2736
Ilife is a "Suite" that works together seamlessly while in Windows you have separate apps. It goes to ease of use issues for the average user. Apples newest commercials. &A#JD1Tg!d8!' 2738 Yeah, as I stated earlier, valid point. But oh Mike, why don't you check whether your statements are factual? Well, having a slacker say he is a Mac is not... That's not what is meant by restart here when you download a "system" update, you need a restart. They're talking about Windows going wonky and needing a restart...as in windows rot. There's a big chasm between mr. average, a power user and a developer. Start your own clbutt action and take them to court. Of course you'll have to prove some physical harm or loss has occurred. But then it's advertising, isn't it? Apples newest commercials. 2737 I would agree here %100, I have been in the IT business since the 80's, I have learned to hate windows, I LOVED Novell, but in all... Stability is an elusive thing in Windows. Lots of folks have stability, but they're usually power users who know a lot of maintaining their Windows OS. OTOH, Mac users have little or none of the maintenance and security problems Windows users MUST be aware of and deal with. Perhaps. But the true hacker community did things because they were there to be done. Todays hackers are often paid to gleen data. The issue is that the Mac OS is harder to compromise than Windows, and by no small margin. This is not to say it's impossible, just a lot harder. If it were easy, we'd have seen it done if for no other reason than proof. -- Regards, JP "The measure of a man is what he will do while expecting that he will get nothing in return!"
