Stability is an elusive thing in Windows. Lots of folks have stability, but they're usually power users who know a lot of maintaining their Windows OS. OTOH, Mac users have little or none of the maintenance and security problems Windows users MUST be aware of and deal with.
Perhaps. But the true hacker community did things because they were there to be done. Todays hackers are often paid to gleen data. The issue is that the Mac OS is harder to compromise than Windows, and by no small margin. This is not to say it's impossible, just a lot harder. If it were easy, we'd have seen it done if for no other reason than proof.
