Confession to make
I think you (or somebody) has been playing with the configuration of that Mac. I'm pretty sure control-space (or nearly any other control sequence) should do anything. Doesn't do anything on my system. Or perhaps your keyboard is goofy? I don't know. I do sort of agree about Page Up-Down. That's why I took 30 seconds to configure Terminal.App do what I wanted. Probably less time than it took you to switch machines.
Oh well, if it comes to that, Putty is a third-party terminal application. There's about a million of those for OS X as well. Why not try one of them? Because it's not OS X that you had problems with. Just Terminal.App (an application). And that application is easily configurable to do what you want. Mac Security: This Week In FUD &A#JD1Tg!d8!' 3229 Mac Security: This Week In FUD I have been staying on the side lines regarding this issue, but I think... Really sounds like you're just griping when you could very easily have just fixed it. Mike -- Mike Zulauf
