The "message" here is that Josh is trying to push the disingenuous idea it's only the "Maccies" (whoever the hell they are) that are making these statements. Meanwhile, Wintel users across the world are cautious as hell because they know that millions and millions of people have problems resulting in billions and billions of dollars. How come this message of the 'easy fix' isn't used often enough to prevent the spending of those dollars while also avoiding anti-virus and anti-malware software? If you look around the 'net you'll see that the claimed fix he's talking about here, whereby he considers himself "Good" for having talked about it, is all over the internet and has been for *years*. The question is, why are Wintel users (and presumably, IT people) against using this or does the 'fix' not work as well as advertised?
