Mayor of R'lyeh snip Mayor, I just did a little googling to check your statistics, and you are wrong. Here...

Not really. 2005 was the first year that cancer rest rates went down. Even that was attributed to the decrease in the number of smokers and early detection programs when surgery is most effective as opposed to anything that you and your colleagues are up to. By contrast the rest rates for almost every other leading cause of rest have declined significantly in the same time period. Even controlling for an aging population ( the usual excuse given by cancer researchers as to why their work is producing nearly no results) yields either flat or slightly rising cancer rest rates from year to year. I'm not saying that you're doing it maliciously or that you're not sincere in your beliefs but the facts show that most of the money going to cancer research is being tossed down a rathole and would be better spent elsewhere. Either that or its past time that cancer researchers admit that they're wandering around in a blind alley and take a new direction.

Its amazing how strong the powers of denial can be in some people.

It might be of use to biologists. Most people aren't biologists and they live their whole lives without needing to refer to it even once. That's one of the reasons fighting over it is silly. We should just admit that we're at loggerheads over it and let those that want to teach it teach and those that don't not teach it.

Mayor of R'lyeh No, Mayor. Before you can cure a group of diseases such as cancer, you have to understand...
