No problem. Glad I could help. BTW, you are right about Apple telling you to contact Linksys. They did the same to me last time I had a problem getting my WEP system working. I could connect without WEP, but the minute I turned on WEP, it stopped unless I manually retyped my 26 character pbuttword - every time!. I carefully explained that my problem was NOT with the router since my DEll could connect, but was with my PowerBook, because it couldn't. Finally they stopped trying to pawn the problem off on Linksys and had me go into several libraries on my OSX PB and throw some files away. After doing that and rebooting it worked. It seems that their Airport troubleshooting procedure begins with starting over with the Airport router and re-installing all the PPoE stuff from router to ADSL "modem" and all the DHCP stuff from host computer to the Airport wireless router. If you tell them that you don't have an Airport wireless router, they seem to be at a loss to go any further. I had to have the whole thing escalated until we found someone at Apple phone support who could actually think.

How did I evade it? I replied to it in great detail. Your problem is how you begin the sentence: "If I get". No one has done antyhing to get 44 persons to...
