Dell to use Google home page, not M

Theoretically, if a consumer gave a damn about which start page his computer came configured with, he could shop around. A potential buyer of a Windows computer could choose to get an HP if he wanted hp.netscape.com, or he could choose to get a Dell if he wanted dell.google.com, etc. But a Mac user has no choice in the matter. All Mac computers come with livepage.apple.com (redirected to www.apple.com-startpage) as the home page.

No. OEMs can set it to whatever they want. They could set it to OEM, so Mac buyers have no choice but to accept whatever that OEM does.

I really don't care about the home page. The only time I really cared was when Apple started using apple.netscape.com in the 90s. That was so horrible that I changed it immediately. As a sidenote, if you go to apple.netscape.com today, it redirects to hp.netscape.com. LOL

That's your opinion, mine differs. Tell me, is there *anything* that Apple does that you find to be less than perfect?
