Do you use 'corporation' and 'profits' as curse words by some chance? Your failure to understand how the economy works does not consbreastute being ripped off. The global warming fundamentalists need hysteria to raise funding, Before they latched on to 'global warming' as the catastrophe of the day they were the also-rans of funding. Now they're sitting on top o' the heap and they're going to ride the gravytrain until its wheels fall off. A recent column that I read said that 99% of funding for climate 'science' was from the federal governemnt. Don't you suppose if things were as dire as the global warming fundamentalists keep claiming some more private money would be in there? After all if its really the coming thing somebody would be scheming to make a buck off of it.

Who was forced to start smoking by the tobacco companies? No one that I know of. Its not their job to look after everyone's health. And who ever claimed that smoking 40-60 cigarettes a day was healthy?

Actually if you knew half as much as you think you do you'd realize that high oil prices are not really what the oil companies want. With high prices there's plenty of incentive for other fuels to be developed. Please tell me that you're not going to tell me some tales about oil company hit squads taking out inventors of alternative fuels and about closets full of 500mpg carburator patents locked away by 'Big Oil'. If you were going to just uncinch your tinfoil hat a couple of notches and let the blood flow freely to your brain.

Says the guy marching to the tune of people who have been 100% wrong in the past with no real reason to believe anything is going to change in the future wrt their predicitve abilities.
