John C. Randolph Try searching for "large flatbed scanner" on the internet, and similar other keywords. "scanner 24whatever. Ignore results that say 12"x17". That's either the standard size or not much bigger. Still, I just tried it and the best I could find was a found a 12"x17" that sells for about $1,200. How can $1,200 be a reasonable price when it turns you that you can purchase a 9"x13" for $80? The only scanner that you'll find for a reasonable price is the Mustek Express A3 USB. And I know for a fact that the driver available on the internet for it for OS X doesn't work with Tiger. Also, Mustek has never created a OS X driver for it. Yet it uses a TWAIN driver on Windows. If you can't find it on the internet. It doesn't exist. You can email manufacturers all you want but what's the point if you know up front it doesn't exist. BTW, I was at MacWorld this year and didn't see a single scanner.
