Tim is *obviously* stating his belief that the two are "Identical". Tim subsequently provided a reason for his belief (and his choice of wording)... but that is irrelevant as you are seen agreeing with his statement above and the context he *obviously* made it in.

You agreed with Tim (and his context) when you issued the following reply to him: "Of course it is... can you find *any* quote where *anyone* has questioned that?"

Of course, then you immediately switched gears and disagreed with Tim... but that's another story. It really is that simple;)
