Tim is *obviously* stating his belief that the two are "Identical". Tim subsequently provided a reason for his belief (and his choice of wording)... but that is irrelevant as you are seen agreeing with his statement above and the context he *obviously* made it in.
The only person attempting to play semantic word games here is you. By looking at the preceding context it's quite clear what Tim was saying. A poster named BusyGuy...
