So, you've lost your Freedom of Speech. Believe me, its nothing about which to brag. I strongly suspect that in 50 years The EU will be totalitarian to the point where both Nazi Germany and the old Soviet Union will look positively permissive by comparison.

"Still allowed to talk about......". If this is true, what a sad state of affairs it is. And I'll bet that you Euros let your freedoms go without so much as a whimper, didn't you? Millions have died, many of them my own countrymen (and some were my relatives) to win you the freedom of expression, and you gave it away without a fight. So lets see, you've given up the right to bear arms, the right to free speech, what's next? The freedom of free buttembly? The freedom from search and seizure?

Yet, here in the USA, we are still free to engage in an exchange of ideas, no matter how politically incorrect or unpopular those views might be. The US has a lot of problems, and is far from an ideal society, but at least we're still a free people who can speak our minds on any subject. Freedom is like good health. We often don't appreciate it until its gone. If what you say is true, I truly feel sorry for you Europeans.
