If Windows could dual boot 1041If Windows could dual boot 1042 That may be true, sir, but it surely didn't cost the developers of the Linux distros "about...
"Linux is free"...Let's think about that. The Dutch tell us "there's no such thing as a free lunch". I agree with them. Someone ALWAYS pays, somewhere down the line. If I don't "pay" for Linux in cash from my wallet or credit card, I WILL "pay" for it in needed hbuttle in trying to configure all my hardware. And the distributors ALWAYS pays for the bandwidth necessary to put it online, as well as for the programmers to develop their product. The fact is, we ALWAYS get EXACTLY what we pay for. If we pay "nothing" (but we will pay AT LEAST the price for the download of 2 or three 660MB disk images, as well as the price for the CDs or a DVD), we will get "nothing". Your "free" distribution of Linux may have cost you "nothing", but it surely cost the developers money. Anyway, who besides an idiot would want to dual-boot with Linux? Linux is an even worse pile of doggie-doodoo than OS X. This "free software" concept is unreasonable and irrational, since "free software and media" does NOT exist anywhere but in your own minds. == Donald L McDaniel Please Reply to the Original Thread. ========================================================
