Interesting Apple Experience For Someone Trying To Switch 451Mitch I guess I live in a different world. I work in the medical profession and at our insbreastution, we have two "Quality butturance" conferences every week where we review each other's patients and critique the care those patients received. We understand that constructive critisim is a valuable leaning tool. Interesting Apple Experience For Someone Trying To Switch 452 Yes, you live in a different world. If I had to venture a guess as to why, I would say that it has... I can certainly understand censoring the tripe and malicious comments, but legitimate questions should be allowed, even if it casts Apple in an unfavorable light. I actually spoke to the supervisors at the rebate center and they were apparently a private business to whom Apple outsourced this work, so they could tell me very little. I then spoke to supervisors at AppleCare, and they couldn't tell me why my serial number was invalid either. This supervisor apparently had the power to authorize a rebate to my credit card that matched the rebate, so it turned out OK in the end, it was just a very frustrating experience. Thanks for your comments. dam
