Is the Mac a PC 2588
I'm sorry, Mike, but you're wrong. MacOSX makes the Mac NOT a clone. It makes it a Mac with an Intel processor. Hell, it won't even run Windows without an Apple supplied piece of software or a guest OS client like Parallels. Not only that, but Windows PCs won't run any release version of OSX. Some PC clone. Is the Mac a PC 2589 Ok I read it wrong. But it still remains that EFI machines can be clones as long as they... It still wouldn't make it a Clone. You cannot buy a Mac, erase the HD and install Windows on it and have it work. When you can install any PC OS on a Mac that you want to without doing anything special, then I'll be the first to say that the Mac hardware is a PC clone. But you can't, and you're not likely to be able to do so either. -- George Graves The health of our society is a direct result of the men and women we choose to admire.
