But if it crashed, I could not then get it to be first again (left-most), without closing all the programs and opening them in the proper order. " That's about opening programs in a particular order to have them appear in the taskbar in a particular order. My solution does indeed solve the above complaint. The OP did not specify "document windows." Make the Taskbar tall enough to show the names, or place your cursor on top of them to see a box pop up with the name inside.
