The operative word is have *only* older Macs. After all, your point, if you had one at all, was that many (note the word many, not most) Mac advocates couldn't advocate newer Macs because they didn't have them. If many of these advocates do indeed have newer Macs, you point is non-existent.

Then, you posted originally without having a point to make in the first place. The point you were *trying* to make is that many of the most vocal Mac advocates (I only left all of that out to try to economize on bandwidth and my typing) couldn't properly advocate the new Macs because they didn't have experience with them. If they did indeed have experience with newer Macs, then your entire point is, well, pointless. But, I guess you are used to that by now.
