by letting me get more done... I don't have to close up apps, to minimise them to get them out of the way. I don't have to spend time alt-tabbing through a long list of apps. (which aren't even grouped by project-task, but by programme, which is pretty useless to me.)

I don't think that all people would benefit from them, I know that I do. Whether you or any other person would or would not, is irrelevent to me.

Demolishing some of your sillier claims about them is fun though.
