Yes, it does in the most recent packages. However, it gives almost full access (AFAIK) to processes...

This is a design DECISION, not a limitation. Put another way, the decision was that moving a window from any edge was the mistake -- and therefore it is any OS that allows it that is failing in appropriate design.

Same reason. Where the deliberate and specific design of the OS says this should not happen, then it is the only correct way to go. It is nonsense to criticize the OS for having been made with attention to this.

How can that be a problem? You can if you enable that operation, and the reason for not enabling it by default is to protect the parts that do not need user intervention.

Is it stupid that house wiring comes with insulation? It makes it harder to contact the wire and the current it carries, but there are good reasons to prevent other things from contacting it all the rest of the time.

Nonsense statement. You can do ALL of the things you need any Finder window for -- and changing the size of the window is definitely not a necessary function. It's a convenience, and one that Mac OS handles excellently. It doesn't handle them in the exact same ways that Windows does, but that (get THIS clear!) does not make the Mac OS way worse. Windows' way is NOT automatically the best way.
