New Patch Fixes 43 Flaws In OS X, Many Serious 2159This is not clear, but I *think* you are trying to say "I can't prove my claims, so I demand you disprove them". Your level of technical knowledge is such that this is probably going to be a challenge. :D Briefly, Unix does not do anything to block viruses that Windows does not also do. It does have some features useful in this regard- discresionary access control is the main one- but Windows has that too. snip It is true. You cannot handle all errors from fork(); the one you cannot handle is the error "out of swap space"; should you exhaust your swap space, fork() will not signal an error, but instead your Unix will start terminating processes to free memory. I can explain why this is so, if you care. New Patch Fixes 43 Flaws In OS X, Many Serious 2160 I have made such a case as I can. That it does not persuade you means little; nothing can ever persuade you... snip I expect you misunderstand him; this is all pretty simple stuff and I don't expect Mr. Rago got it wrong. snip I always try to do it in the reverse order, myself. :D
