Unix has been around for a very long time now, and still don't see this mythical problem you keep talking about. Yet a virus needs to spread from computer to computer to be effective. Every Unix box will be somewhat different in its set up and most of the time the virus stops there and can not go further.

Sad but true. Now, if the same bunch were to move to Macs, the malware problems and viruses that they had experienced on Windows would go away. It is one reason I moved my wife from a Wintel to a Mac. She no longer has any of these problems.
