Next Pro app 2904
BBEdit is also my weapon of choice for Rails development. I tried to like TextMate, which seems to be the 'in' editor in the Rails community these days, but BBEdit still wins hands down, IMO. BTW, I don't know how involved you are with Rails, but it's pretty nutty how many top-tier Rails types use OS X. In fact, in basically every case where I've noticed what platform a rails community leader type has been using (from screen shots they post or comments about editors or whatever), it has been OS X. Next Pro app 2905 I've also tried switching, but the unix filter support, glossaries, applescript support and all nifty editing functions, I've stayed with... This is one of the reasons I'm always so entertained when we get Windows types in here harping on this or that that Windows supposedly does better. Yeah, well, it all depends on exactly what "this or that" *is*. With most of the stuff I do these days, Windows users are decidedly second-clbutt citizens. -- "Those who enter the country illegally violate the law." -- George W.
