OSX Leopard when 2196Apple Store Pays it's retail, so don't expect a lot... 6-10 per hour (with better than average benefits) depending on position is my guess... ---- Apple store employees receive...
I suspect Apple will be extremely tempted to ship Leopard slightly before Vista. Preferably a week or two before, just to upstage Microsoft a bit. In fact, I would be unsurprised if Apple adopted its new slower release cycle following the release of Tiger specifically so they'd ship slightly before Vista. This makes sense. If Vista shipped right between two OS X releases, instead of just slightly after an OS X release, Apple would effectively be putting themselves at a 6-9 month disadvantage in terms of development time relative to Microsoft. That is to say, on the day Vista shipped, there would be 6-9 months worth of OS X enhancements which weren't going to be available to Mac users for until the next major release in *another* 6-9 months. On the other hand, if Apple ships just two weeks before Microsoft, they're taking on Vista with everything they've got (in the main development branch, anyway). -- "Those who enter the country illegally violate the law." -- George W.
