I said nothing to suggest people can't know more than one aspect, nor that anyone needed to be ignored or doesn't have much to contribute. I only said that some people who have expertise should be given more attention than people who do NOT -- on THAT subject. If you look back, I wrote that I don't know what effort they put into it. Until you know that, and have an expert grasp of how much they need, you can't really comment whether it is enough. I personally think Microsoft has people working on making GUI features, and not really studying whether they are smart, good, useful, intuitive, or consistent. But that's not from knowing anything inside Microsoft, just seeing what they do and how they change it.
