OSX's amazing resize! 1646
Fishing reportLook at the kind of stuff they post and you'll see why. People that are limited... Mitch Alas, if you do DNA sequencing, you probably do use Windows, since (at least the last time I checked) the major manufacturers of DNA sequencers run their machines on Windows. I don't actually use the sequencers, so I don't use Windows for that. Fortunately, there exists a good number of software packages for analyzing the sequence data on a Mac. Indeed, Macs are becoming more and more popular among life scientists. At least part of this is because OSX is Unix based, and there are a huge number of programs that can be compiled to run on Macs, using Fink or X11 if they haven't been recompiled for OSX. This isn't really true, as many Mac users use Word, Excel and Powerpoint. I still do use Excel and Word (since Endnote doesn't do Cite while you write for anything but Word), but have switched over to Keynote for presentations. -- Dave Fritzinger Honolulu, HI
