Fear mongering (everywhere.) Hate mongering. Preventing registered voters from reaching the polls (African Americans in Ohio, Florida and elsewhere.) Stage-managing the 2000 Florida vote count. Trashing war heroes (John McCain, who endured unspeakable horrors during more than five years as a POW, called a traitor; John Kerry, thrice wounded in combat, called a coward and a liar; Max Cleland, Silver Star and Bronze Star for valor, lost one arm and both legs in combat, said to be a coward and a traitor; portrayed as having links to Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein. The irony here is that George Bushdesertedthe U.S. Armed Forces during the Vietnam War. TheBusheshad business connections with the Bin Ladens; and it wasCheney-and-Rumsfeldwho had close ties to Saddam Hussein!)

I should trust these people to play fair in future elections?
