Contrived, due to the loss of revenue when the viet nam war shut down abruptly. In Montana we resorted to using our own wells. There was no shortage of gas here. Just a shortage of cheap gas.
Never seen it hurt anything either. But the dam itself generating electricity is the cleanest you'll ever see.

Agreed, or put down a possible technology because academia says it is impossible to do.
If they melt like they say it will, I suspect and this is only my take, is that nature will compensate with ice elsewhere. Nature tries to keep a balance. Most likely we'll see climate shifts.
