The doctor that published "proof" that the MMR jab led to autism in a number of children was later found to be sponsored by a group campaigning against the jab. This came to light long after his thesis was published in "The Lancet", so we have to be very careful buttessing people's independence, not that I'm accusing Dr. Gray of anything, you understand.
Well, let's see.
On the one hand, some environmental scientists may have a vested interest in propogating the GW thesis, to keep themselves in a job, it would be surprising if there weren't any. How many $$$ are at stake here?
On the other hand big business and the oil lobby have a vested interest in disproving the GW thesis. How many $$$ are at stake here?
