One more reason XP is better 1087
I almost hate to say this, but I agree with Pratt on this one. Apple has developed a tendency to create "hidden" features. One of the things that helps one learn to use anything is *discoverability*. Menus in a GUI are like that: you can see at any moment what options you can invoke; options you can't use at a particular moment show as grey. But with Expose (among other things), there is no discoverability. You either read about it, or you hear about it, or -- if you're lucky -- you stumble onto it. Why not have a system-wide menu that contains the system-wide things... One more reason XP is better 1088 You're missing the point. Would you think it a good idea if the keyboard shortcuts one uses for menu functions -- Cmd-O, Cmd-C, Cmd-V, etc -- would you think it... ...wait: there already is one. Apple just needs to use it better. -- Alan Baker Vancouver, British Columbia "If you raise the ceiling 4 feet, move the fireplace from that wall to that wall, you'll still only get the full stereophonic effect if you sit in the bottom of that cupboard."
