Look at Kosovo, we lost I think two troops in that war and Milosevic is out of office because of it and Kosovo is safer. That's how to fight a war. Iraq 1991, we lost 345. Then we came home. What we are doing in Iraq is "nation building". That is not our job except here at home. Let the people who live in that nation build that nation. It doesn't matter how long the US stays, a year or five years, the war won't end. When we leave, they will kill each other more than they're killing each other now. Don't give me that bullpoo about removing a dictator. There are dictators all over the world. Islom Karimov is a dictator in Uzbekistan. I hear he likes to boil his political opponents to rest. However he wasn't so much of a dictator that Bush had him over for meetings at the White House. They even discussed F-16s in exchange for Uzbekistan's vote in the UN. But not one plant fell from a US jet on this brutal dictator.
