That's a matter of opinion. Depends if you want to run OS X. But what arguably must have some value, is that the Mac is the *only* PC that will allow the running of OS X *and* XP on the same machine, *officially and legally*. Which takes you onto... Yes and no. Yes, it may (or may not) run a pirated cracked copy with variable levels of success. But no, it won't run a legal, fully up to date, officially distributed and supported copy. So yes, you may (or may not) be able lever this hack onto some generic PC box that's a little cheaper than a like for like comparable Mac, or indeed a cheaper type box than Apple cares to make at all, but ask yourself, is that inital purchase cost saving really worth the hbuttle and uncertainty of an illegal hack that may or may not work, may or may not be updated, and may or may not choke if you try?
