That too is a matter of opinion. I prefer OS X to Windows, and I believe any Mac has additional value being the only PCs that can run it (properly). But that's an opinion. My opinion. It's not shared by everyone - as you may have gathered already - and it may not be shared by you.

If you're looking for a definitive answer, then you're barking up the wrong tree. The Mac vs PC debate has been going on for decades, and I seriously doubt we're going to settle it in this thread. It's all a matter of opinion, and you're going to have to form your own.

Best way I reckon: Buy a Mac Mini; hopefully it'll hook up to your existing kit; try it for a while, i.e. several months; remembering different from Windows does not equal worse than Windows; then when you're done with it, dump it on eBay. Then you'll have your own first hand opinion on which to base your buying decisions, rather than on the opinion of strangers who have no business expressing what is best for anyone but themselves.
