PC vs Mac OS question 983

Hmmm...Well, like I said, I'm brand new to Macs. My total experience was 2, 20 minute sessions with Macbook Pro 15" at my local Fry's and reading a few reviews. Seems like there's never a sales person around when I'm shopping. The MBP I used had no mouse attached, so I was trying to do with the Mac's touchpad what I do what I usually do with the touchpad on a PC (which I do infrequently.)

It seems to me that the touchpad on the MBP had only one button, and the pad didn't seem to respond to tapping like the Wintel laptop keypads do.
Neverthless, the look and feel of the MBP is impressive. If I do get one, I'll probably annoy the crap out of everyone on this forum.
